The dog is a long-bodied dog, its four legs are very short, much shorter than the body length. That unique physical feature makes them look like a sausage.
They have a long head and muzzle, deep abdominal bellies, quite large and firm chest muscles. The dog's eyes are slightly protruding, especially the ears are quite large and drooping, hanging down the cheeks which look extremely cute.
The original purpose of the breeding was to hunt for cave animals such as rabbits, rats, ... so the short legs and small body became the advantage of the dog sausage.
