In the battle of Naboo, Queen Padmé defeated the forces of the Commercial Confederation and regained independence. Qui-Gon Jinn dies in the hands of Darth Maul, but Obi-Wan kills him. The Jedi Council, headed by Yoda, felt Anakin's future was shrouded in fear, but still allowed Obi-Wan to train the boy.
Also due to the secret manipulation of Palpatine, a group of planets created the separatist movement, confronting the Republic. Obi-Wan pursues a clue and finds an army of clones, which was commissioned by a former Jedi many years ago. Meanwhile, Anakin and Padmé fall in love.
