The completed Death Star appears in New Hope. Commanded by the Grand Moff Tarkin, the super-armament of the Galaxy Empire, a giant spherical space station with a diameter of over 100 km is capable of destroying an entire planet with just one single shot. At the beginning of the film, Princess Leia Organa is trying to transfer the plan of the Death Star to the rebels. Arrested, Tarkin forced the princess to reveal the Secret Faction's secret base by ordering the Death Star to destroy Alderaan, the princess immediately declared the wrong location, but he still ordered the destruction of it so that see the power of the Star. Later, Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, Chewbaca, C-3PO, and R2-D2 were pulled in by the space station, where they found the princess in custody and escaped from the station. The Plan of the Death Star can be seen in the Invasion of the Asexuals. In the Sith Revenge section, you can see the star under construction. In Jedi's Return shows a second Death Star built on Endor's second moon orbit. Emperor Palpatine and Darth Vader intentionally revealed false information to the Rebels that the Star's weapons system was not working to put them in a trap. The station's weapons were fired many times to destroy some of the Rebel ships. When the station's shield was disabled by the ground crew, the fighter pilot flew into the station's reaction core and destroyed it.
