The whole Village Ta is lit by sparkling lights, with laughter and joy everywhere. This is also an opportunity for relatives and friends to gather at the dinner table and share warm wishes and moments. However, the joy of one person is sometimes the sadness of another. Grinch loves a quiet life, often bothered by the noise of the people of Lang Ta. He appears as a "victim" of overly friendly and jubilant, rather than a villain who likes to "steal" Christmas Day.
However, behind the character's difficult personality is a traumatic and lonely past that makes viewers have to ponder. Through Grinch and Cindy Lou, the film wants to leave many lessons about family affection, as well as the true spirit of sharing on important occasions.
As a work aimed at families, especially children, adult audiences can hardly expect a complicated, unpredictable script at The Grinch. Choosing the stereotypical ending, the film did not create too much novelty and lacked the drama in the ending.
The Grinch character initially appeared with an unpleasant personality of all kinds. However, he was immediately changed by only a few brief events. The character's important transformation has not been thoroughly built and convincing enough for viewers.
