The longest recorded evidence found in the Norwegian and Swedish regions. Preliminary inscriptions show that they used a pole for skiing in Northern Norway. The first original skateboard found was made of wood about 85cm long. This board dates back to the 1010s, it is the oldest skateboard in Greece brought to Norway around 980.
Modern day skiing is known by a Norwegian. Along with that, Telemark district in Morgedal, Norway is also considered the cradle of skiing. In 1850 a hunter introduced a slimmer and lighter skateboard, when the legs were tied in place with a tool.
