There are websites, most notably Facebook, that have used facial recognition technology for years. They use it to spot people in photos, suggest tag - tag friends and sometimes used to find cases of copyright infringement. It is not clear when deleting Facebook, users' face data will still be saved.
Until now, people still tried to bypass face recognition systems in one way or another. However, not all of these studies are bad: when you find a flaw, the next step is always to close it. So every time we realize that face recognition technology is defeated, we can understand that the way of defeating will soon become obsolete and unusable.
