After leaving northern India, most of the Digan have migrated to some eastern European countries such as Romania and Bulgaria, a total of about 12% of the region's population. The Digan also live a lot in Turkey with a population of about 2.75 million. A few other countries with quite a lot of Digan people include: Russia, Slovakia, Hungary, Berbia, Spain and France.
Although concentrated mainly in Europe, the Digan people are still found on other continents. About 1 million Diganians live in the United States and about 800,000 live in Brazil. However, no matter where they are, the Digan still face discrimination and persecution.
