Stranger Things is set in an imaginary scene in a rural town of Hawkins, Indiana in the early 1980s. periodically, on the other hand, they secretly perform supernatural and unusual scientific experiments, including experiments on the human body. Inadvertently, they created a gateway into the parallel world called The Upside Down. This has caused dreadful dangers for the unknown town of Hawkins.
The first season is set in November 1983 when Will Byers is kidnapped by a creature from the Reverse World. His mother, Joyce, and Hawkins town police chief Jim Hopper sought him out. At the same time, an esper girl named Eleven escaped from the laboratory and later helped friends Will, Mike, Dustin and Lucas, looking for him.
The second season is set a year later, in October 1984. Will is rescued but few know the details of the incident. When Will found out that he was still affected by entities in the Reverse World, his friends and family discovered a serious threat to the Earth from the Reverse World.
