The first 2 seasons of the film witnessed a lot of sorrowful situations, when the "child" and "human" parts fought fiercely in the context of thousands of hanging hair. That was when the pizza delivery Glenn risked his life to save Rick - whom he had never known before; or when Shane mercilessly sacrificed Otis to allow the zombies to flee alone. Surviving - that's all people think of, but the problem is how everyone chooses their own way.
At the end of season 2 even revealed a shocking information: All people infected with the virus, as long as they die (without being bitten) will return to walkers and hunt the survivors. This is a turning point that makes this series more stressful and attractive than ever, as the survival journey will now become much more complicated and difficult.
